1930 by Atria's: Reviews & Ratings
We decided to have our family time here this time. They have an upstairs, downstairs & a bar area. It's absolutely lovely & chic inside. Just as reviews mentioned- service isnt that great-- food comes out warm, drinks take about 15mins. The wait for the food for another 20 mins. And I understand, its extremellllllyyyy busy & probably short staffed. Nonetheless it does take away from the whole experience unfortunately-- because you feel like youre bothering the server by asking how long it'll take.. And that's all our complaint was. The hubby ordered the Honeydew Do Me A Favor-- absolutely amazing! And the Hand-Breaded Cod Sandwich-- fish was hot, he thoroughly enjoyed his s/w. I ordered from the "Restaurant Week" -- the Pot Roast nachos were bomb! but warm-ish some parts were cold. The Togarashi Seared Halibut for entree was tooooo tangy/tart for my palate-- although the halibut had great flavor, a gorgeous sear & very moist inside. I wouldnt get this dish again though. Dessert we took home the Peach Bread Pudding-- very good & not too sweet which worked well with the scoop of icecream. I had the Silent Awe-- floral which I love & not too sweet. And the Beverly Rose-- mild tartness thank goodness. Both were great! Our 7yo had the Hot dog w/ shoe string fries- it came out at good time & the food was hot-- thankful for it. Did not use valet parking.
Dined there on a weeknight, during our recent trip to the area. Small cozy place, pretty busy at the bar, which could easily be rather noisy. Thankfully we were seated in a smaller room which had lots of B&W pictures giving it an old world charm. But number of tables crammed into a rather small space, with chatters from surrounding tables, was not the greatest atmosphere. We had the crab bisque with sherry and their fish of the day, which was monkfish, then ended with a smooth and delicious creme brulee. We found the food and service to be nice but overall dining experience given the price point, was so-so. I am sure there would be other places in that neighborhood which offers better value for money.
Came in on a Wednesday night. Enjoyed some fantastic cocktails at the bar before dinner, courtesy of Lindsey. We then sat outside on the patio and had dinner. The food was good, though not amazing. If you’re looking for good food and drinks comparable to downtown, but without downtown prices, this is a good option.
Finally got to check out 1930 By Atria’s and already planning my next visit! Whether you choose to dine in the library, secret room, parlour, or sitting room, the vibes are incredible — plus, outdoor seating for those perfect evenings. The rotating menu keeps things fresh and exciting, always something new to look forward to! Had to dive into their Oktoberfest menu, which was next level First up, cocktails— #BeePassionate is a sweet, smoky, spicy masterpiece made with Granja Mezcal. Then we went all in with the Schweizer Schüblig, a baked bratwurst wrapped in puffed pastry with Bavarian mustard (YES). Shared a few plates that were pure German goodness: Potato pancakes, crispy and perfect Rheinischer Saurbraten (braised beef with potato dumplings—big win!) Paprika Händel (fried chicken with creamy paprika sauce—seriously, SO GOOD) Ofenfrische Schweinshaxe (roasted pork shank with mashed potatoes and signature gravy—do not miss this!) And for dessert? Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte (Black Forest Cherry Cake) — the perfect sweet ending! Highly recommend reserving your spot!
All around incredible service from the valet to the host to the server and everyone in between. The cocktails were very good as well as the food.
This was our first visit after the rebranding, and we were not disappointed. The attention to detail of each dining space was amazing. The craft cocktails were fantastic.
